Our Sin Keeps Us From Having a Personal Relationship With God

“For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God . . .” Romans 3:23

“As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one: There is none that understandeth, there is none             that seeketh after God. They are all gone out of the way, they are all together become unprofitable;              there is none that doeth good, no, not one.” Romans 3:10-12

“But your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid his face from you,          that he will not hear.” Isaiah 59:2

Only Through Jesus Christ Can You Have a Personal Relationship with God,
Human Efforts Fall Short

“The wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” Romans 6:23 “

For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God,                      being put to death in the flesh, but quickened by the Spirit.” I Peter 3:18

Jesus said, “I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.” John 14:6

You Must Personally Turn From Your Sin and Believe on Jesus Christ                       as Savior and Lord.

“Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that you sins may be blotted out . . .” Acts 3:19

For by grace are ye saved through faith, and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works,                lest any man should boast.” Ephesians 2:8,9

Prayer is simply talking to God. . .

“That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God                   hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness;                    and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation . . . For whosoever shall call upon the name                       of the Lord shall be saved.” Romans 10:9, 10, 13

You Are Saved Eternally

God will never leave you “. . . for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.” Hebrews 13:5

God assures you that you have eternal life: “These things have I written unto you that believe on                          the name of the Son of God, that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe                         on the name of the Son of God.” I John 5:13
